1984-1988 PONTIAC FIERO
1988 Fiero GT in Medium Red Metallic Paint

The Fiero was first introduced in 1984.  It was Pontiac's newest 2-seater sports car.  Fabricated using a steel frame and plastic/composite body panels gave this car a sturdy frame, yet keep it lightweight.  The Fieros came with a 2.4 Liter "Iron Duke" 4-cylinder engine, and was available with a 2.8 Liter V6 engine.  As the car market came out with new 2-seaters, such as the Toyota MR2 and Mazda Miata, sales figures for the Fiero dropped, and was eventually discontinued in 1988.
