1993-2002 PONTIAC FIREBIRD (4TH GENERATION)
The last generation of the Firebird deemed a whole new body again.  The 1993 Firebird had a steep windshield and low profile look.  A powerful WS6 (Ram Air) model was released in 1996, bringing back a functional ram air cleaner and hood, adding 20 HP to the base figures.  In 1998, the Firebird included GM's flagship LS1 engine, an all aluminum engine producing 305+ HP, while maintaining excellent fuel economy.  As the Firebird production came to an end, Pontiac released the 2002 Collector Edition Trans Am.
