ATI crankshaft pinning fixture. This tool is a must if you are running a supercharger or have over 400 HP. As we all know, the LS series motors use a non-keyed crankshaft and balancer combo, and the balancer bolt is holding it all together. We have seen many spun crankshaft snouts during our engine builds, and it's because of the lack of the keyway. Superchargers add added stress to the balancer, and try to spin the balancer on the crank snout.
This simple tool slides over the crankshaft snout, then gets tightened. You then drill a hole in the fixture, through the crankshaft. After that, simply hammer a pin into the hole, and you are ready to install a keyed balancer and save your crank.
Tool fits all LS based engines Except LS7/LS9
