New Dorman axle shaft. Axle shaft fits either side, LH or RH. This is for V8 cars without Traction Control (also called ASR), and V6 cars with or without traction control. This axleshaft DOES NOT have a tone ring, and this shaft is considered 3-channel ABS. Includes new bearing, seal and nuts. Listing is for 1 shaft kit as shown. Fits the following:

98-02 LS1 V8 Camaro without Traction Control/ASR, V6 with or without ASR
98-02 LS1 V8 Firebird/Trans Am without Traction Control/ASR, V6 with or without ASR

NOTE : 98-02 models come with 2 different style axleshafts, which are NOT interchangeable between the 2 styles. There is a 3-channel ABS and a 4-channel ABS. 4 Channel ABS cars have traction control/ASR, and use a tone ring installed on the shaft, VS the 3-channel systems which have the ABS installed on the ring gear carrier. 4-channel ABS have 2 separate rubber brake lines where the rear brake lines feed the differential and 1 line runs to each caliper, 3-channel ABS has only 1 line, which tees to each caliper. Some V6 cars have traction control, but use 3-channel ABS. Look under your rear!
