New do-it-yourself transmission cooler line kit. Our kit consists of all Russell Performance components. This kit has all the fittings and hose from the radiator to the transmission. We commonly have to make cooler lines, so we created this listing using the components we use most often. This kit includes 10' of steel braided hose (#6, which is 3/8" equivalent), transmission adapter fittings, radiator adapter fittings (1/2"-20 thread radiators only), 3 pieces of 90 degree swivel hose ends, and 1 straight hose end. Assembly is required. Typically, we install the 90 degree ends on the transmission side and the upper radiator cooler line. The straight is used on the lower radiator line. The transmission fittings included work on TH350, TH400, 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions. This has 1 segment of 10' total of hose, which means your transmission cooler outlets needs to be within 4-5 feet of the radiator. If you are curving lines around obstacles, you must account for additional lengths.We always suggest using a piece of rope to measure before purchasing. Tech Tip : To ensure your radiator has 1/2-20 threads, purchase a 1/2"-20 bolt and see if it threads into the cooler, if it does, you have 1/2-20 threads. 1/2-20 threads is the standard thread on factory radiators for 70-02 Camaro/Firebirds. Pre-measure your cooler length with rope. Save the rope for when you make the lines! Keep lines away from exhaust and suspension components!
