New MSD 2-Step rev limiter/launch control. For those of you who don't know what a 2-step is, it's basically a dual rev limiter. You have a RPM limit for staging (to prevent your engine from going over a certain RPM staging), and an RPM limit for maximum RPM (to prevent over revving the engine). This is a plug and play setup, which connects in between both coil harnesses on the engine. You will need an activation switch (not included). Activation of the 2-step can be used by supplying +12V or ground to the system, making this universal for most switches. Some examples of switch control could be line lock switch, clutch switch, steering wheel switch, etc... This unit works on all LS coil systems (LS1 LS2 LS3 LS7 LS6 LQ4 LQ9, etc) with factory coil harnesses, 24x and 58x systems. Any RPM limits set in your PCM via programming should be removed to avoid incorrect rev limiting by the PCM.

This unit requires a minimum of 1/3 RPM drop between RPM settings. As an example, if your upper rev limiter is 7000 RPM, the lower (staging) RPM has to be 4667 or less (7000 x .33 = 4667 RPM). In other words, you cannot set the staging RPM to 6000 and then the upper RPM limit to 7000, as it's not 1/3 drop in RPM.
